A childhood spent in and out of London art galleries filling up sketchbooks cemented Mary’s lifelong passion for drawing.
After a busy period of living on top of a caravan business and raising three young children, Mary took a mindfulness course which was pivotal in inspiring her to pick up the paintbrushes again.
Mary is constantly pushing herself to approach her work from different angles so that her work feels fresh, new and ‘of the moment’.

Floral landscape painting celebrating the start of Spring! This is one of my all time favourite paintings. We had experienced a very wet, cold winter here in the UK and slowly but surely the first signs of Spring started to emerge.. little flowers and blossoms appeared and the sun gradually came out making the sky so much brighter and full of pastel colour. My artwork is very connected to the seasons and this piece in particular shows that deep link. The figures are free and full of joy, perhaps dancers or simply walkers jumping for joy with the novel feeling of warm sun on their faces and blossoms between their toes.
